how to make excel file onweb page editable

I place my excel file on web page. I like to allow many other users to input / add further data without making the existing data altered on web page itself.

Excel is not designed to be a stand alone product, ie if you or others do not have it it can not be worked on.

I think some of the shared websites have their own versions of spreadsheets and you should look into those to acieve your goal
