Hello -

I have a table for which I didn't use data validation to create any drop down list. However, when I point to any cell in this table, and hit alt + down arrow, it will have a drop down list.

Why is that? And how can I make the list disappear?

Thanks,
Perri

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
That's a useful feature of Excel ... to show entries already used in the column.

What would you like to happen when Alt+DownArrow is pressed?
