Dear All,
Is there any way to protect the formulae(so that no body can change the same) in any sheet even though the sheet is not protected?
Thanks

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
You cannot protect formulas without protecting the worksheet - why do you feel the need to avoid locking the sheet?

You could select the ranges people were allowed to edit, in your case that would be every cell except for those that contained formulas. Your user wouldn't notice any difference that way then protect your sheet

Put the formula in the cell.
Set the cell's Validation to the formula =FALSE

It won't protect the formula from Clearing the cell or from being pasted over, but it will be protected from the user's typing.
