I have a field that contains the month and year. Example 092006.

I want to prompt the user to enter just the year 2006.

What to i need to add to my access query prompt to only look at the last 4 digits?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
What type of field is it?

If it's text you could use an expression like this.

MyYear:Right([YourField], 4)
