In my workbook, I have a cell that contains a long sentence.
Within the sentence, I want to be able to click on a particular word and in doing so, take me to a webpage.
For example, the sentence might be:
Please click me to navigate to the webpage.
and if the user clicks on the word me, it'll trigger a macro and take them to a specific webpage.
As far as I'm aware, it's not possible to trigger a macro by clicking only on a specific word within a sentence.
One alternative is to make the whole sentence a picture, then assign a macro to that picture.
What I've come up with is to have this sentence:
Please click [SPACE] to navigate to the webpage.
and then insert a picture of the word me where [SPACE] is and assign a macro to it.
The problem concerns alignment. If the user changes the zoom view, the "picture" me does move but not in line with the rest of the sentence.
Is there a way round this?
Thanks
