Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if its possible create a hyperlink to view a table in windows explorer that is located on another sheet in the same workbook.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
I think it is possible but I have not done it.
I do not think hyperlinks will actually open the data directly, they will just open the workbook, but don't quote me on that, I only have an older version of excel.

You can however link data in your current workbook, by cutting and pasting the table into another workbook then linking it.

When the data is changed in the main workbook the linked data will update itself.

Alternatively you could use a small macro to open that workbook displaying the table.

It really depends on what you want as an end result.

Mind you the link is not portable and if the linked data is moved to another location you have to re-link it and the other workbook has to be available.

Though a hyperlink has the same issue.
