Hyperlink to multiple cells

I am wondering if there is a way to put a hyperlink in one excel tab that will then be able to link to multiple cells in another tab within the same workbook. Basically if I click on one cell in one worksheet, I'm looking for the hyperlink to bring me to the next tab and highlight multiples cells (that are not adjacent to each other). Is this possible?

Thanks to anyone who is willing to help :)

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
If you name the range on the other sheet you can hyperlink to it as a "bookmark" and it will behave as you asked. You may also be able to specify a non contiguous range in the bookmark but I've never tried it.
