Hi,

I was wondering if there is any kind of macro to insert hyperlink to a existing cell using another cell value.

I have all the names in coloumn A, and all the hyperlink addresses in coloumn B.

Example:

A B
John U:\people\first names\john.pdf

I have thousnd number of rows like this. I need a macro to take the value of the cell B1 and insert as a hyperlink in cell A1, and of course do this forr all of the rows in worksheet till end.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Code:
Sub SetHyperlinks()
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Dim cell As Range
For Each cell In Columns(2).SpecialCells(2)
With cell
.Offset(0, -1).Hyperlinks.Add anchor:=.Offset(0, -1), Address:=cell.Value
End With
Next cell
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
