Hyperlinks keep failing

I am still using Excel 2003 at work. I have a spreadsheet to track costs and have many hyperlinks connecting (and opening) cost descriptions to their relevant Work Orders which are stored as PDF's in a different folder. This works well for weeks at a time, but then, for no reason all the links fail with the error - "cannot find the specified file". The locations of these files never change (or get renamed), so i cannot get to the bottom of why this happens. I then have to manually re-link all my hyperlinks.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
:confused::confused:

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
I'm not certain it will solve your problem but I would try setting the "Hyperlink Base" to point to the folder containing your PDF files.
