Here is my problem

I have data in columns a, b and c which is data for each month (Jan, Feb March)

I have another cell let's say in d1 that holds a number equal to a particular month ( 1 for Jan, 2 for feb 3 for march)

What I need to do is - show in column e the data that is from column a or b or c depending on the value of d1. I am trying to do this with a cell formula instead of a vlookup as I can't add a reference column for the vlookup because I am working with spreadsheets that are linked based on cell references and I don't want to disturb that, if possible.

One other thing I have to deal with 12 months this way and am told I can't use an if statement holding 12 ifs)

Thanks

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
