hi all,

each month I got some table (data table) in excel and i need to make pivottable to make from data table
I tried to make macro, recording it, but each time I failed (i used to get some errors messages)
Please, i dont know how to write vba, i am still learning how to do it, so i would like to say thanks a lot anyone who can help me.

Data table looks like this;

A B C D E F G
1 AAA 10 15 1,7 21.02.2011 12,7 14
2 BBB 17 18 1,9 22.09.2010 15,0 17
3 BBB 14 20 2,0 15.03.2011 17,0 18
up to n-row, about 55 000 (each time is different number of rows, but columns are the same)

I need to get pivottable on few new sheets, for different criteria
like in one sheet (pivottable) to be data about data for column A, B and E
other sheets some other combination
and I need to make different names for sheets

thanks

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Do you need to create the pivot tables from scratch each time?
Why not update the data and refresh the existing pivot tables? Here are some options for doing that.

Did you look at the link? The first article on that page shows you how to create an expanding range, and the second one show you how to link that to the pivot table.
