I'm trying to sum the count only for the count with a trailer # in the cell next to it. I only want those counts. If anyone could provide me with the answer with a formula and another with code it would be appreciated.

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Let A2:B8 house the sample you provided...

Is this what you want:

=SUMPRODUCT(ISNUMBER(A2:A8)+0,B2:B8)

You may also be able to get away with
=SUMIF(A2:A8,"<>",B2:B8)

good luck
