i want to copy a row of numbers that are generated by a formula and paste them to a location on a second sheet. I then want to go back erase the data that generated the numbers without eraseing the numbers posted to the second sheet and then insert new data and copy the result that to the second sheet one row below the pervious entry is there a way to do this? please help me!

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hello tommurray, welcome to the board.
Sure, there are a number of ways to do that. A few questions for you first.

What row from the source sheet do you want to copy?
Which column(s) from that row get copied?
What is the destination sheet's name?
What column in the destination sheet do you want to paste to?
What range in the source sheet gets erased after pasting the formula results?

I assume when you say 'and then insert new data and copy the result' that you
mean you'll be entering that data manually. (yes?)
