Please help in excel formula.

I want find numbers repetition (double and triple numbers hit/win) in historic lottery list.

Your recommendation seems appropriate but I do not know how to search for two or three winning numbers winning numbers as shown in the attached sample.

Please suggest me the appropriate excel formulas to study them and apply them. Thanks for your help

I would recommend creating a list of all possible numbers, and then doing a count of each one.
So, for example, if your data was in the range B2:F100,
then maybe starting in cell M1, enter 1,
in M2 enter: = M1+1
and copy down until you get to your last possible number (60?).
Then in N1, enter this formula and copy down for all rows:
=COUNTIF($B$2:$F$100,M1)

Hey Joe4, if we use the FREQUENCY function we can get the number of occurrences for each number. But is there a way to match the number of occurrences with the actual number in the list.

Not sure that applies here. You typically use FREQUENCY to find out how often a value occurs within a range of values (see: FREQUENCY - Excel).

The COUNTIF suggestion given by FDibbins and myself will count the number of occurrences of each possible value. You can even use Conditional Formatting to highlight the numbers that occur more than once (to satisfy the following statement):

Thank you, I sucess in use =COUNTIF , but I don't know as use this formula for find double and triple repetition of hit or win.

Please advise me about it.
