Hi All,

I think this is a VBA answer - but I'm a novice.

I want to protect my sheet to stop others adding columns etc - however I also want the flexibility to expand / collapse and also use the Clear Filter button, as scrolling around to find what you have filtered can be a pain.

Anyone able to help me do this? The sheet I am using is called "Supply"

I would like the sheet to keep these settings once it's closed / saved / reopened and for it not to ask for a password at all.

Thanks.

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Even without a VBA you can protect an Excel Sheet with password allowing use of auto filters, insertion of rows and columns. Just select the options "Insert Column/Insert Rows/Use Auto-Filter at the time of set up of password for the Excel.
