Let me take this opportunity to thank all you guys and girls that are being of so much help to me with my tedious and quirky posts. Legends!!

Another problem, in a long column s/sheet how do I get my column headings to stay there when I scroll down?

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi

The previous answer is correct, but it is also useful sometimes to fix part of your rows, eg if you click on cell B1 and freeze panes then all column headings will be frozen and any entries in the cells in column A will be on permanent display.
To unfreeze click on Windows and select Unfreeze
