Hi to all...
I'm new here and I know there is somebody who can help me out in my curiosity. My question:
I created a custom shortcut toolbar with icons using icon editor, how can I use that icons for my created custom toolbar with the same function.
All response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks God bless.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
If you right click the icon when in Toolbar Customize mode you will get options to Copy or Paste the Button Image.

Hi thanks for your kind response..
Actually I tried that one but it only copy and paste within shortcut menu but not in the toolbar menu itselt.
I have attached the image of what I would like to do..the custom icon I made in the shortcut menu (blue oval) will be place as icon for the toolbar menu (red oval).

Any idea to sort this out will be of great help.
Thanks God bless

Not sure if I inserted the image correctly..

Mr. Andrew,
I tried your suggestions and I did copy and paste it to a specified place but another question arise...
My custom toolbar is program generated (when I open the workbook it added the toolbar and deleted it when it close). The problem is that the copied icons are also deleted. How can I get the faceID of my custom icon so I can add it directly to my codes?

Thanks for your time God bless...

Sorry, a Custom icon doesn't have a FaceID. For me this:

?application.commandbars("Custom 1").controls(1).faceid

in the Immediate window returned zero.

You can copy the face (CopyFace) of an icon and paste it on a worksheet as a picture. You can also copy the picture and paste it onto an icon (PasteFace).

Thanks Mr. Andrew
Now it is confirmed that I cannot include a faceid in my custom toolbar...

Just wondrin' after saving icon as image can I use it directly in my code to be included every time my code runs?
Or how can I use the image as icon in code? thanks in advance.

Hi there...
Thanks for your great help I already added the custom icon..
But I have another concern, why is it that when I set the button enabled propderty to false the custom icon is disappearing leaving only a background shadow...
Do you have an idea about this? thanks
