Hello,
Looking for some help if possible, I have done a bunch of looking but can't find what I need. I have to use a formula as this will be copied about 50x on a worksheet. Have not use this forum in a while but it never disappoints to thanks in advance!
1) Start with a sequence in A2
Start with a list of items to be removed in B2:B6
- New items will be added to the range as needed
- The ? is a wild card meaning it could be an A, B, C, D, etc.
2) A11 starts the list of items that were found that need to be removed
- FIrst D^, then J^, then H^^ etc.
- If the range of found items was A11:A20 that would be enough
3) A3 takes off the 1st item found that needs to be taken out of the sequence
- in this example, the D^ was taken out of the sequence
A4 takes off the 2nd item found that needs to be taken out of the sequence
- in this example, the J^ was taken out of the sequence
