Identifying Formatting Problems in Outlooks XLS Imported Files

Im trying to import Calendar items from Excel (Office XP SP3). I decided it was best to start with an excel file formatted by Outlook itself, then paste my new data into the empty fields. So I exported a couple items and then cleared the values.

After doing an unformatted paste of 10 rows of new data to it and save, it only imports THREE items (rows) and stops there. Ive even special-pasted formulas-only into a new worksheet to no avail. I comb through the formatting, formulas, values, etc. to find what Outlook doesnt like but cant find it anywhere.

Again, I only have a 2003 compatible version of Excel, but is there a way I can look at hidden formatting/programming on a ROW BY ROW basis to see whats different about the non-importable rows?

Rather than create workarounds which might be faster, I would like to identify the problem so I dont have to constantly use workarounds.

Thanks.

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Outlooks XLS-File Importing/Exporting

Ok, I guess this is kind of a boring topic since it doesnt talk about formulas. Still, Data Conversion is something we will all be involved in at some point. Someone out there please try this and tell me if they experience the same strange phenomenon with MS Outlook. Thanks.
