<TABLE border=0 cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD align=left>I have a spreadsheet with a list of tasks, required by a certian date. Due date in collum A, Task text in Collum B. When the due date is one week away the task text turns orange, when one day away, the text turns red.

Now I want to have the text turn blue once it is completed, signified by entering the date completed (in collum C). I have been playing with putting check boxes in collum D under a completed heading but cannot make this work for me yet either. I'm sure this is simple I'm not sure how to right my formular. IF C6 has any value then make the text in B6 blue. Any help would be most appreciated.
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.

Give this a try in conditional formatting:

=ISBLANK(C6)=FALSE
