if cell contain today's date or date after today

I want to know if I can make macro or something that would detect, if cell contain todays after or any date after today, it will ESC the current running macro,

If the cell you were examining were A1:

If ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value >= Date Then Exit Sub

see I have many Macros, one that changes dates, one that increases loop so I don't know which one i should put it in
