Hi all,

I want to change the colour of a cell if the number is within a certain range.

So, for example;

If this cells number is 0-60 I want it green
If this cells number is 61-90 I want it orange
If this cell number is 91+ I want it red

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
I was just looking at that, but it keeps doing a gradient of colours rather than just one colour depending on where the number falls.

I'll keep playing with it.

It's ok, I found it!

In conditional formatting, there is an option to use icons and then set the ranges you want them as.

Thanks for the quick response!!

You will need 3 conditions like this

273
3123
Sheet1
Cells with Conditional Formatting
CellConditionCell FormatStop If True
A11. / Cell Value less than or equal to60Abc
A12. / Cell Value between 61 and 90Abc
A13. / Cell Value greater than or equal to91Abc
