This code ...

Code:
            ....
            If .tb_r7_srl.Value = "-" Then
                .tb_r7_srl.Value = ""
                .tb_r7_sru.Value = ""
            Else
            ....

Appears to fail when the value of .tb_r7_srl.Value equals "-" WHen the value is indeed a hyphen, the code skips over to the Else condition.
A check in the immediates window of Me.tb_r7_srl.Value returns -.

What could be causing this?

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
