If FALSE, leave cell blank - does not work

When cell D5 is blank, below formula in L5 returns "False". I need to have cell L5 blank. Is there a way to tweak the formula.

formula is: =IF(D5>0,DATEDIF(D5-DAY(D5)+1,$E$3,"y"))

Cell D5 is passed date, Cell E3 is Today()

Your help would be appreciated.

What about : =IFERROR(IF(D5>0,DATEDIF(D5-DAY(D5)+1,$E$3,"y"),""),"")
