Hi All,

I'm currently using Excel 2000.

I have a full column of data in column A (about 700 rows). In cloumn A, I have a series of random numbers 5 digits long with either a C or a E in front: ie E12345 or C09876 etc. As well as these numbers in column A, I have random product names.

What I need to do is create a formula in column B that brings across the adjacnet data in column A only if it is E#### or C####. I'm assuming it would be a IF formula ??

All help will be greatly appreciated.

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Without seeing your data and Expected Results, I'm not too sure on what you really want.

Do you want this:
