Hi,

I have 8 columns D2:K2 with questions and in the cells D5:K5 a drop down menu with Y/N.

In Cell L5 I would like it to look at D5:K5 and if there is a Y or N in all the cell to return "Completed". If all the cells are blank then to return "Not Completed" and if some of the cell have Y or N or are blank to return "Partially completed".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
How about
Excel Formula:
=IF(COUNTIFS(D5:K5,"")=8,"not complete",IF(COUNTIFS(D5:K5,"")=0,"Complete","Partially completed"))
