If I group data, will it affect someone else's macros?

I inherited a new process and a spreadsheet that belongs in a beginner Excel class. The main issue I have right now is that I have about 8k rows of data, the data is not grouped, and a person in my distribution list runs a macro on it for whatever need they have. He mentioned changing the coding, so I'm assuming he's built it in VBA. I'd like to be able to group this data, so I can print a single page summary report without having to juggle the same file in different formats. Is grouping the data going to disrupt his macro without additional coding?

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Potentially, impossible to say without seeing the code and the data. Perhaps you could Pivot that data to create a summary? Again impossible to say without seeing what it looks like and what your required output is.
