Im sorry, I have tried to figure this out and looked on past forums.

On my spread sheet I have an average number in column I
I'm hoping I can make a formula to put in a value that I specifically want if the average number is within a perimeter.
For instance my perimeters are 12-19 hours = 15 20-30 hours = 30 30-35 hours = 40

So I would want the cell next to the average hour (column J) to tell me the value according to my perimeters 15, 30, or 40
Thank you for your help

What version of Excel are you using?
I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Also what happens if the value is outside those regions?
