I have a worksheet with part numbers listed in column A, with a description in column B, and a quantity in column C. I have 5 other workbooks located in a folder, that contain the same formatting. I'm wondering if there is code I can write that will delete the entire row from my worksheet if the same part number exists in any of the other 5 workbooks, not editing those 5 workbooks at all.

Secondly, do the other 5 workbooks have to be open in order for this to be possible? I can fill in the file names and/or file paths myself if someone can help show me where to integrate them.

Thanks, and I'm using Excel 2007.

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
