Hello,

Can anyone help me find what is the problem with the following formula?
I searched the forum and could not find anything like that.

=IF(AND(G2="1",H2="C"),"CREDIT CORR"),IF(AND(G2="0",H2="C"),"DEBIT CORR")

I receive
#VALUE!

</tbody>

thanks for any hints

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Your formula has a closing bracket in the wrong place and a missing FALSE outcome. I also suspect, G2 contains the number one rather than the character "1", check the cell formatting, depending on whether it's General, Number, Text or something else.

Try:
Code:
=IF(AND(G2=1,H2="C"),"CREDIT CORR",IF(AND(G2=0,H2="C"),"DEBIT CORR", "Something Else"))

Hello,

Thank you very much. This solved my issue. Though the numbers in this formula are texts. All I did only was to change bracket positions.

thank you again!
