If statement with multiple text conditions

Have a spreadsheet with conditions in column I and based on the value of column I, need to place a value in column Q. The formula is in column Q. All values are text. This is what I've tried.

IF(OR(I3={"AAA", "BBB", "CCC", "DDD}), "Jones", IF(OR(I3={"EEE", "FFF", "GGG'", "HHH"}), "Doe", IF(OR(I3={"III", "JJJ", "KKK", "MMM"}), "Smith"))

This isn't working for me. Help please?

You have not added " in DDD

Yes! After I changed the periods to commas, filled in the missing quote marks, and corrected the backwards brackets, it worked perfectly! Thank you , CA_Punit and VBE313!
