Hello I’m trying to do an if statement and it is working however I want it to skip blank cells the column is there a way I can do this?

Any help I’d appreciate
=IF(AC4<=10,”within timescales”,”outwith timescales”)

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
You could nest an IF function, i.e.
Excel Formula:
=IF(AC4="","",IF(AC4<=10,"within timescales","outwith timescales"))

Sure, just add an OR clause to the first IF, i.e.
Excel Formula:
=IF(OR(AC4=0,AC4=""),"",IF(AC4<=10,"within timescales","outwith timescales"))

Since blank usually evaluates to zero, you may even be able to eliminate the check for blank, and just check for 0, i.e.
Excel Formula:
=IF(AC4=0,"",IF(AC4<=10,"within timescales","outwith timescales"))
