Hi. I have Column A that is empty. Column B is a column of numbers all starting with 10-,11-,12-,13-,or 14-. I want to populater column A with ABC if column B starts with 10-, ABD if it starts with 11- ABE if it starts with 12- ABF if it starts with 13- and ABG if it starts with 14-. Is this possible?

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
=IF(LEFT(B1,3)="10-","ABC",IF(LEFT(B1,3)="11-","ABE",IF(......))) and so on.
You can nest an IF 7 times.

Will column B contain entries other than numbers starting with 10-,11-,12-,13-,or 14- ?
