Ignoring Named Ranges?

Is it possible to not use a named cell’s name when selecting a named cell? (Ideally if there was a hot key I could use when selecting named ranges that ignored the name?)

Here is a simplified example of what I mean.

i.e. I have two a columns of data A & B. Cell A1 is named "bob".

If I use the mouse and select cell A1 excel automatically enters the range name for me “C1 = bob/B1“. IF I then copy cell C1 down I get C2= bob/B2, C3=bob/B3 …. I want C2=A2/B2, C3 = A3/B3 ….

I hope this makes sense

Thanks

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
I don't know of any shortcut key to do this, but here are two ways:

- Don't "select" the formula, type it's reference instead (A1)

- Use the "Unapply Names..." feature that comes with PUP 5 from J-Walk
