I am creating a pivot table to show savings value by specific product, but I don't want to reveal the actual number. So I used conditional formatting to make green for positive, yellow for neutral, and red for negative. Problem is if I send the file, all the recipient has to do is click on the cell to see the value. Is there a way to show directional imapct like I'm doing but not have the person reviewing the file be able to actually see the number (even if they have access to the file)? Could I create what I want and then copy and paste values in some way?

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
You could format the cells so their locked and hidden, make the sheet protected, and they won't be able to see the numbers
