Our IT department finally upgraded our systems with Office 2007. In Excel 2003 I had several macros built to run some routine functions for me. I created a new workbook in the 2007 version, imported my data, however, the macros are nowhere to be found. Any ideas on where to find them and get them working in 2007?

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
What kind of macros was it? Events? UDF's?
Where were they located: in different files, in the Personal macro workbook, ...

What do you mean with "I created a new workbook in the 2007 version"? Is this just creating a new file like in Ctrl-N? Then you will have an empty file.

The macro was user defined. The macros were assigned to a specific workbook, thus I am guessing they were personal macros. The real question is how to I make them available to new (Ctl-N) workbooks/worksheets? If I can get to the old workbook, is it practicle to copy the code and paste it in a module in a new workbook?

Yes, open both workbooks and in the Project Explorer in VBA (Ctrl-R) you can simply drag and drop modules to also have them in the new file.
