Help! I'm new to excel and need to find directions in how to import and parse a comma-delimited file created by our financial software package. I've looken in the index of my excel book under importing, parsing, comma delimited, and file to no avail. What am I missing?

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Excel should recognize and parse a .csv file for you automatically? have you opened the file in Excel? what do you see when you do open the file?
