I am making a catalouge for work and i need to import around 300 images into one excel spreadsheet.

Is it possible to create a Macro or abit of VBA coding to select the correct image (by name) and then move to a curtin area?

Thanks alot.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Try this code:
Code:
Sub InsertPictureFileAtSelectedCell()

    Dim vFileToOpen As Variant

    If ThisWorkbook.Path = "" Then
        MsgBox "Save this workbook before continuing"
        Exit Sub
    End If

    ChDrive ThisWorkbook.Path
    ChDir ThisWorkbook.Path

    vFileToOpen = Application.GetOpenFilename("All Pictures (*.emf;*.wmf;*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.png;*.jfif;*.jpe;*.bmp;*.dib;*.rel;*.bmz;*.gif;*.gfa;*.emz;*.wmz;*.pcz;*.tif), *.emf;*.wmf;*.jpg;*.jpeg;*.png; *.jfif; *.jpe; *.bmp; *.dib; *.rel; *.bmz; *.gif; *.gfa; *.emz; *.wmz; *.pcz; *.tif; *.wpg" _
        , , "Select the file to insert at the currently selected cell.", , False)
    If vFileToOpen <> False Then
        ActiveSheet.Pictures.Insert(vFileToOpen).Select
    End If

End Sub
