I'm trying to import multiple spreadsheets into my access dB. It's the same spreadsheet each time but I want it to be imported as a new record. Can i map the excel and access fields so that a new record is created each time? Or is there some other way? Would be great to be able to drop and drag spreadsheets onto the database.....but that may be wishful thinking!!!!

Thanks for your help.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I think we really need a little more information to be able to help you. When you say you want to import the same spreadsheet another time, but into a separate record, could you explain that a bit more? Is there only one row in this spreadsheet? Because each row in a spreadsheet becomes a record in a table in Access.

If you want to drag and drop, you can copy the columns and rows in Excel that you want in Access, go to the Database Window in Access, right click some white space, then select Paste.
