Knowing that the smallest number is one and the largest is 45, I wish to +1 to each of the above and continue.

Is there a way that I can do this and say when the number hits 46 it changes to 1 again and continues to cycle through until I have enough combinations ?

I am extremely new at excel, I'm a excel virgin so I would appreciate if there was a formula that I could cut and paste into the excel formula bar.

Hi everyone I have a new question regarding this thread.

is there a way I can do the above but only show the numbers that have rotated X amount of times ?

Example

If there were 7 numbers in a set
Minimum number was 1
Maximum number was 45
This would give me a total combinations of 45,379,620
This would be to many numbers, so I wish to shrink them down by say a sample frequency of 3,781,635. This reduces it down to 12 combinations.

I have come up with this =IF(A1=45,1,A1+1)+FREQUENCY(3781635) but it doesn't work. Is there a way ?
