I am using the following formula. However, I want it to take the average of all D3:D258 cells taking into account the blank cells. (Considering blank cells as zero values)

=AVERAGEIFS(D3:D258,$A$3:$A$258,$C$266,$B$3:$B$258,"")

Please help. Thank you.

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Not tested but perhaps this entered with CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER

=AVERAGEIFS(D3:D258+0,$A$3:$A$258,$C$266,$B$3:$B$258,"")

Nope, now that I got access to my xl2007, it doesn't work..

You'll have to resort to the xl2003 method...

=AVERAGE(IF(($A$3:$A$258=$C$266)*($B$3:$B$258=""),D3:D258))

Entered with CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER
