Hi,

I'm having the following format in my excel sheet's cell N7.
0001 / 2011

How could I write a code that would increase the number by one each time I run the macro?

Let's say for example from 0001 / 2011 to 0002 / 2011.

Any help on this would be kindly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
What is the underlying value in that cell and what cell format is applied?

Maybe:

Code:
Sub increase_Wigi()
    [N7] = Format(Left([N7], 4) + 1, "0000") & Right([N7], 7)
End Sub

Wigi
