Hi,

Thank you in advance.

I'm using Excel 2007. In a worksheet called May 2011, Cell B54 I have the below formula

='D-Notes by Day'!B34

In Cell C54 what I need is the vaule from
'D-Notes by Day'!B35

Is there any way I can do a formula to, Red increasing the cell number
='D-Notes by Day'!B34+1

Thank You
Pam

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
I think you could use INDIRECT, but have you considered TRANSPOSE?

I am not sure what you are asking. Is it if you can tag symbols onto a cell reference as :

='D-Notes by Day'!B35

I am assuming this would give the result you need?
