I know this is simple, but I'm having trouble figuring it out. Let's say at cell A1 I have a value of 126. I want subsequent cells to increase by 1. So cell A2 would be 127, cell A3 would be 128 and so on and so forth. I need this to go down to about 2800. What would be the best way to go about this?

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.

Try this...

Enter 126 in cell A1

For Excel versions 2003 and earlier...
Goto the menu Edit>Fill>Series

For Excel versions 2007 and later...
Goto the Home tab>Editing group>Fill>Series

Select Columns
Step Value: 1
Stop Value: 2800
OK
