Hi,

Is there a way that every time you open a spreadsheet the field number on the sheet increments a bit like a counter?

Thanks
Mona

OK, depending on what name your textbox has (quite possibly will be TextBox1) and the name of the relevant spreadsheet(s), then the code specifics you'll be looking for will be something like:

Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
With Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")
    .Value = .Value + 1
    Sheets("sheet1").TextBox1.Value = .Value
End With
End Sub

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
