Index Match for Most Recent Date

I have a spreadsheet that has 2 columns.

Column A shows Product Name and Customer
Column B shows the date of the last time the customer purchases the product.

I would like Column C to return the last date the customer purchased the product.

I believe this is done using the Index Match function?
