I am using an index match formula to return a numeric value. The index is set to the correct column because I am getting the only single-digit numeric value available in all of my columns. But the numeric value is "2". The formula keeps returning "1". I don't know why.

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
