indirect.ext > HELP!

hello all

im trying to apply the indirect.ext formula to my worksheet so i dont have to change the name each and every time.

here is my formula, but keep getting a REF error

=(SUM(INDIRECT.EXT(""&B28&"'!$S$59:$S$63")))


THIS IS WHAT IM TRYING TO DO:
=SUM('Dallas-Shreveport'!$S$59:$S$63)

can someone pls help with my syntax or something? or even my logic...thx u so much! been at this for hrs!

Hi,

If the worksheet Dallas-Shreveport is in the same workbook you can use the built-in INDIRECT function

=SUM(INDIRECT("'"&B28&"'!$S$59:$S$63"))

Be sure that B28 = Dallas-Shreveport with no leading or trailing spaces and also that there are no spaces in the tab-name

Just in case, try this
=SUM(INDIRECT("'"&TRIM(B28)&"'!$S$59:$S$63"))
