I have one indirect formula which has 2 references within brackets by using + sign. Can someone please explain what + sign functionality within indirect formula.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Nothing special as far as I'm aware. The + operator is used to add to numbers together and it will also concatenate two strings.

Being able to see your formula would help us provide a more precise answer.

That just adds 1 to the value in A5 to get a row number.

This is little explaination of formula, first part is calculating range and after + sign second part is a reference which has a value of 15

Indirect(range C10:C4+ value in reference cell is 15)

Hope this will better explain

Thanks again,
