I selected Phone for my Input Mask, which resulted in "555-555-5555";;@. But when I go to the datasheet it will not let me enter a telephone number. 555-555-5555 shows when I enter the field, but it will not let me enter a number.

Any suggestions on what I should check?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
It seems to work fine for me, though the input mask it created for me looks like:
!\(999") "000\-0000;;_

I believe all the numbers should be 0 or 9. If you put 5s in there, I think it will treat them like literal 5s and hard-code those in there for you.

Thanks.

Changed it to !\(999") "000\-0000;0;_ and now it works.
